Bissouma was one of Brighton’s standout performers in the season gone by and has been linked with a move away from the Amex Stadium ahead of the summer.

Arsenal are a club that have been credited with an interest in the Mali international, who has also been associated with a transfer to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Brighton, on the other hand, have been claimed to hold an interest in Nketiah and there have been suggestions that Arsenal could include the striker in a swap deal for Bissouma.

However, contrary to reports, the England Under-21 international is not a target for Graham Potter’s side in this transfer window.

The Seagulls had problems in front of goal in the season gone by, but do not view Nketiah as the solution to those issues.

With Nketiah not a target for Brighton, it remains to be seen how Arsenal will try to convince the Seagulls to sell Bissouma.

It is said that Brighton value the 24-year-old at over £40m, though there have been suggestions that he could be allowed to leave the for £30m.
