The Scottish giants have been without a manager since January and while Eddie Howe is expected to take up the post soon, nothing has been announced yet.

The delay and the lack of clarity in the pursuit of a new manager have left a section of the Celtic fans, who were angry at seeing Rangers stopping their march to ten-in-a-row this season, frustrated.

The time for the renewal of the season tickets at Parkhead has been inching closer and to tempt their fan the club have announced that each season-ticket holder will get a £50 gift voucher.

The club also vowed to the fans that they will soon sort out the appointment of a new manager.

“We had hoped to have announced the Manager before providing this update, and we do intend to finalise the appointment of the next Celtic Manager shortly”, Celtic said in a statement released on the club’s official site.

“However we have been encouraged by the recent announcement of crowds at sporting events across Scotland this summer.”

Howe is expected to take charge of Celtic in the coming days, with the club also set to appoint a new technical director.
