With 17 goals and eleven assists in 37 outings across all competitions, Lang has been on fire for Club Brugge this season, and the club have landed him on a permanent deal from Ajax following his loan.

However, the Belgian giants could find themselves in a scenario where they might have to part ways with the winger, despite having only enjoyed his services for just under a season as he has firm admirers elsewhere.

Premier League outfit Leeds have identified him as a priority target in the rapidly approaching summer transfer window as they look to bolster their attack ahead of another top flight campaign where they have ambitions to push for Europe.

But Club Brugge are desperate to keep Lang in their ranks beyond the current window and, according to Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad, he has been offered an improved deal by his current club.

The Blauw-Zwart are aware of the growing interest in their player and are keen on warding off any potential suitors by tying him down with a new deal.

Lang’s current contract at the Jan Breydel Stadium runs through until the summer of 2024, but Club Brugge’s hierarchy have refused to rule out the possibility of him leaving the club in the upcoming window.

It remains to be seen whether Lang will put pen-to-paper on fresh terms at Club Brugge with him tipped to have options in the summer should he choose to leave.
