The 24-year-old Turkey defender played a massive role in Lille winning Ligue 1, trumping all early season predictions of another title win for Paris Saint-Germain.

His performances at right-back were instrumental in Lille pushing towards the title, but it has led to a scenario where they could lose him this summer.

Celik has piqued the interest of several clubs ahead of the transfer window and he has been linked with a move to the Premier League.

And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Everton and Tottenham have been keeping an eye on him with a view to making a move.

Both Premier League clubs are expected to be in the market for a right-back and Celik has appeared on their radar.

Everton are seeing to find a long-term replacement for Seamus Coleman and Tottenham are looking for an option other than Serge Aurier, who could leave the club this summer.

Aurier has interest from PSG and Real Madrid.

Celik has two years left on his contract and Lille could cash in on him for the right price.
