With the summer transfer window looming closer, Leeds have cranked up their planning to wheel and deal as they look to dip in the transfer talent pool.

Hertha Berlin star Cunha, who has caught the eye with seven goals and six assists from 27 Bundesliga appearances, has been credited with an interest from the Whites.

And it appears Leeds have received a boost should they choose to launch a swoop for the Brazilian in the upcoming window as, according to German magazine Sport Bild, Hertha Berlin are prepared to let him go.

Die Alte Dame have given Cunha the green light to exit the club this summer if they receive an offer in the €30m range.

Cunha, who arrived at Hertha Berlin from league rivals RB Leipzig in January 2020, has a contract at the club until the summer of 2025, but now has the opportunity to leave prematurely.

Should the 21-year-old leave the Olympiastadion this summer, he is tipped to be not short of suitors as in addition to Leeds, Ligue 1 giants Monaco along with Serie A duo Napoli, and Atalanta have registered interest in him.

Leeds fans have been enthralled by the latest Brazilian addition to their squad in winger Raphinha, who had a stellar 2020/21 campaign and it remains to be seen whether Cunha will join his countryman at Elland Road.
