Tottenham loaned out the 20-year-old midfielder to Norwich last summer and he was instrumental in being the club promoted back to the Premier League this season.

He made 44 appearances in the Championship and was one of the first names on Daniel Farke’s team-sheet as they won the league and got themselves back in the big time after just a year.

But Skipp is now slated to return to Tottenham, who will be appointing a new manager in the coming weeks.

His future is only likely to be decided later in the window, once the new boss has run the rule over him, and it has been claimed Norwich would be happy to take him back for next season as well.

Farke is a big fan of the 20-year-old midfielder and is concerned about finding a replacement for him this summer.

Tottenham’s new manager will take a look at Skipp during pre-season before a decision is taken over his future.

Norwich are expected to keep tabs on the situation and would be keen to take him back even if a decision is taken late in the window.

Skipp wants to play regular football next season as well and is likely to be open to another move to Carrow Road on loan.
