Bellerin is no longer a certainty in the starting eleven at Arsenal and started just two of their last 13 games in the just concluded Premier League season.

The Spaniard is one of the players the club are said to be prepared to move on in the summer as part of Mikel Arteta’s squad restructure.

Bellerin is also ready to leave the Gunners this summer and a move back to Spain is believed to be the 26-year-old’s preference.

And according to Spanish sports daily Marca, Betis are in contact with the player’s entourage to assess the possibility of signing him.

The Spanish club want a right-back in the summer and Bellerin is one of the prominent names of their shortlist of targets.

Betis are trying to assess whether the Spaniard would be interested in considering a potential move to the Benito Villamarin Stadium this summer.

They want to sign him on an initial loan deal with an option to buy and are looking to convince the player about the move.

However, his salary is likely to be an obstacle as it is beyond Betis’ current financial capabilities.
