Nuno left Wolves at the end of the recently concluded campaign, after being in charge since the summer of 2017, after the club finished a disappointing 13th in the Premier League table.

The Eagles are also on the hunt for a manager after Hodgson left the club at the end of the season, with the London team finishing just one place below Wolves in the league table.

Morrison believes Nuno is the right man for the job at Selhurst Park, insisting that out of all the speculated names he should be the one foremost on the Eagles’ list.

The former Eagles forward explained that the impressive job done by Nuno at Molineux is enough proof that he will similarly succeed in charge of Crystal Palace.

“I do think he is the right man”, Morrison told Sky Sports News.

“There are lots of candidates, but I do think if Nuno is available, you go and get Nuno.

“He did a terrific job at Wolves.

“He is a brilliant manager and I think he would be the right man for Palace.”

Nuno is also tipped to hold talks with Everton over their vacant managerial post following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid.
