Kalajdzic caught the eye with 16 goals and six assists from 33 Bundesliga appearances for Stuttgart in the just concluded season.

He has admirers in the Premier League in the shape of Everton and West Ham, while Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig have also expressed interest in his services ahead of the summer transfer window set to swing open next week.

West Ham are considering a new striker as a priority target, while Everton are also keen on bolstering their attack in the upcoming window, with Kalajdzic currently on both clubs’ radars.

His current deal at the Mercedes-Benz Arena runs through until the summer of 2023, but he could find himself leaving prematurely with interest in him from both domestic and foreign clubs.

However, any potential suitors could be dealt a blow in their pursuit of Kalajdzic, as according to German daily Bild, Stuttgart are keen on extending his contract.

The 23-year-old has already asked his agent to inform him if any potential suitors come forward with concrete offers for him this summer, but could be offered a new deal at his current club in the coming weeks.

West Ham also have clutch of other strikers on their transfer wish list in addition to Kalajdzic, while Everton’s priority targets are a new winger and a new right-back.

It remains to be seen whether either club act upon their interest in Kalajdzic, who will be in the limelight in the upcoming European Championship with Austria.
