The full-back joined Celtic in October on a season-long loan deal, but struggled to make an impact at Parkhead during his stint.

Laxalt made only 13 Scottish Premiership starts, and has returned to his parent club, where he is contracted until the summer of 2022.

However, it appears the full-back is not part of AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli’s plans for future of the club as, according to Italian outlet Milanlive.it, they are now looking to sell him.

Laxalt’s agent has already received offers from Dynamo Moscow and Turkish giants Besiktas and he is set to meet the Rossoneri’s top brass later this week to hold talks over a potential transfer.

Greg Taylor shared game time with Laxalt at left-back for Celtic in the season gone by, racking up 26 top flight appearances.

The Hoops are currently working on roping in Ange Postecoglou as their new manager.

And it remains to be seen whether Celtic will look to bring in more competition for Taylor this summer by snapping up a new left-back with a new era of management on the horizon.
