Pochettino’s future at the Parc des Princes is under the scanner after claims he has spoken to Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and admitted he wants to return to north London.

Tottenham are on the hunt for a new man at the helm and former boss Pochettino remains among their top candidates, after Levy calling off talks with Antonio Conte.

And according to French magazine Le 10 Sport, PSG are not ruling out the possibility of Pochettino exiting the club only after five months in charge and will not stand in his way if he has his heart set on leaving this summer.

The Ligue 1 giants are lining up ex-Real Madrid coach Zidane as a potential replacement for Pochettino, with the club’s top brass being long-time admirers of the Frenchman.

Despite rumours swelling about his future at PSG, Pochettino is yet to clarify the situation to the media, which has not sat well with the club’s sporting director Leonardo, while the coach also failed to take his club to the Ligue 1 title in the season gone by.

However, PSG have denied Pochettino handing in a request to leave to date and there priority is still that he stays at the club.

It remains to be seen whether Spurs will make any concrete moves in the coming weeks to try to lure the 49-year-old away.
