The 22-year-old Moroccan’s future at Inter is under the scanner, with the club expected to sell him in order to raise funds.

But Inter are holding out for big money and have already rejected a €60m offer from French giants Paris Saint-Germain in the ongoing transfer window.

Chelsea have also been in contact with Hakimi’s representatives and are said to have matched PSG’s opening offer for the player.

But according to Italian outlet FcInterNews.it, Chelsea are yet to move officially for Hakimi and no bid has been tabled yet.

The Blues are still claimed to be weighing up an offer for the Moroccan and have extensively scouted the player.

Thomas Tuchel wants him as well but for the moment Inter have received no official bid from Chelsea.

Inter want at least €75m to €80m before agreeing to let the defender go despite their need for a cash injection.

Chelsea are said to be prepared to offer Emerson Palmieri and Andreas Christensen to Inter to sweeten the deal.
