Following their failure to land Sancho last summer, Manchester United are positive that they are closing in on a deal to sign him this time around.

Dortmund have rejected two bids from Manchester United, but negotiations have continued to take place and they are hopeful of concluding a deal soon.

The two clubs are now €12m apart, but an agreement is expected to be agreed and Manchester United are pushing ahead to get it over the line soon.

The Premier League giants have personal terms agreed and, according to German magazine Sport Bild, Sancho is set for a massive pay rise if he moves to Old Trafford this summer.

He will earn around €15.1m per year at Manchester United if he joins the club in the ongoing transfer window.

It would mean that he is likely to almost double the current €8m per year year wages he is earning at the Westfalenstadion.

Sancho is keen on the move and is pushing to leave for Manchester United after the negotiations faltered last year.

The Red Devils are confident of working out differences with Dortmund and signing the winger in the coming days.
