The 25-year-old winger impressed in the Premier League last season despite West Brom being relegated from the top tier of English football after just a one-year stay.

Pereira is expected to leave the Baggies this summer with several Premier League clubs believed to be interested in offering him a new home.

Leeds have been keeping tabs on him with a view to signing him in the ongoing transfer window as part of their plans.

But it has been claimed that West Brom will not be forced into accepting a knockdown transfer fee for Pereira.

There are suggestions that the club could consider selling him this summer for a figure of around £15m in the coming weeks and months.

But West Brom’s valuation of Pereira is significantly higher than the reported figure at the moment.

They are aware that the Brazilian is unlikely to stay and play in the Championship, but they want the best price possible for him.

It remains to be seen whether any of his suitors table a bid that will match West Brom’s valuation of the winger.
