Arsenal have been pushing to land the midfielder in the ongoing transfer window and are in talks with the Belgian giants over a potential transfer for the 21-year-old.

A product of the Anderlecht academy, he is prepared to move on from the Belgian giants and has also been attracting interest from Spanish giants Sevilla.

But Lokonga has made it clear to Anderlecht that he wants to join Arsenal and is pushing for a move to the Emirates.

According to Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws, Lokonga has reached an agreement over personal terms with Arsenal as well.

Arsenal have managed to work out a deal over a long term contract with the midfielder and are now working on a deal with Anderlecht.

The Belgian giants rejected an initial offer of €17m from the Gunners and are waiting for a fresh offer.

Anderlecht want a deal worth €20m before providing the green signal to Lokonga to move to the north London club.

But they are also under pressure to sell a player this summer in order to balance their books.
