The Gunners are looking to make serious improvements to their squad this summer and have been linked with a host of players across different positions.

Arsenal have already made bids for Brighton’s Ben White and Anderlecht’s Sambi Lokonga, while also being linked with moves for Aaron Ramsdale, Ruben Neves, Yves Bissouma and Ruben Neves.

Mikel Arteta’s side have also been credited with an interest in Manchester City duo Sterling and Mahrez and it appears that two forwards are of genuine interest to them.

The north London club are said to making enquiries over Sterling and Mahrez as they gauge which level of player they can land during the ongoing transfer window.

Manchester City are plotting a big-money move for Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane this summer and are claimed to be willing to sell the likes of Sterling and Mahrez to raise funds.

And Arsenal could look to bolster their attacking options by attempting to bring either Sterling or Mahrez to the Emirates Stadium.

It is claimed that the Gunners are prepared to invest heavily in the ongoing window and the Manchester City duo could prove to be good options for them.

However, Sterling and Mahrez are said to be keen to continue with Manchester City and are expected to hold talks about their situations in July.
