The 19-year-old winger spent the second half of last season on loan at League Two side Harrogate Town and is expected to leave Rangers again this summer on a fresh loan.

McPake has a year left on his Rangers target and the Gers are keen to see him continue his development.

Rangers are expected to make him available on loan again this summer and several clubs are believed to be interested in him.

League One newcomers Morecambe and League Two sides Oldham Athletic and Tranmere Rovers have been linked with a move for him.

McPake has also been linked with a move to Doncaster Rovers, however the club are not amongst those keen on him.

Richie Wellens is expected to look into the loan market in order to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season.

But McPake is not one of the players that Doncaster are considering bringing in in the ongoing transfer window.
