Simeone scored just six times in 33 appearances in Serie A last season, but that has not stopped several clubs from showing an interest in him this summer.

He has been at Cagliari since 2019 when he initially joined on loan from Fiorentina and has netted 22 times for the club.

Torino, Sampdoria, Bologna and Marseille are some of the clubs who have been credited with an interest in Simeone.

He has now also been linked with a move to the Premier League, as according to Tutto Mercato, West Ham are keen to land him.

West Ham manager David Moyes has been interested in signing a forward since the winter transfer window.

The Hammers are on the lookout for a forward this summer as well and Simeone is one of the names on their radar.

West Ham would face competition if they move for Simeone, who has interest from a host of clubs.

It remains to be seen whether they make a concrete move to land Simeone in the coming weeks.

The forward is believed to be keen on a move and is seeking a fresh challenge this summer.
