Dembele spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid but injuries and illness meant that he featured very little for the Spanish champions.

He made just 16 La Liga appearances and it is unclear whether Atletico Madrid would consider signing him on a permanent deal this summer.

Dembele is back at Lyon for pre-season and is being linked with a move away with Arsenal believed to be interested in getting their hands on him.

But according to French sports daily L’Equipe, the French forward is not ruling out continuing at Lyon next season.

He had face-to-face talks with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas last week and it was reiterated to him that the club want to keep him.

Lyon will consider selling him if they receive a good offer but for the moment, the plan is to keep the forward.

Dembele also held talks with Bosz who assured the Frenchman that in his attacking line-up he will get plenty of opportunities to prove his worth as a goalscorer.

The striker is happy after talks with the hierarchy and is willing to stay at Lyon next season.
