The Welsh full-back made just 14 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions for Liverpool last season.

With Trent Alexander-Arnold the established right-back, the 20-year-old has found his game time limited at Anfield and there are suggestions he could be moving on this summer.

Liverpool are prepared to sell the Welshman and Leeds are amongst the clubs claimed to be keen as they look to bolster their options ahead of a second season back in the Premier League.

But it has been suggested that the Whites will face competition from at least two other Premier League clubs for his signature.

Williams has also attracted the attention of Southampton and Burnley in the ongoing transfer window.

Liverpool want around £10m before they agree to sell the defender as part of their transfer plans.

The Reds rate Williams but appreciate the fact that he could look to leave in search of more first-team football.

A product of the Liverpool academy, the Welshman has featured 25 times for Liverpool’s senior side and has a Champions League winners’ medal to his name.
