The 19-year-old put pen-to-paper on a new deal at Ibrox in January, but his future at the club remains under the scanner as he is generating serous interest from south of the border and from France.

Premier League side West Ham are keen on snapping up Kennedy this summer, but saw Rangers knocking back multiple bids for him.

The teenager spent last season on loan at Scottish Championship outfits Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Raith Rovers respectively, impressing at both clubs.

Kennedy was expected to again leave Ibrox on another temporary stint in the ongoing transfer window with Dunfermline touted to be his destination.

But a move to the Pars has been held up owing to interest in the winger’s services from elsewhere.

However, East End Park remains a likely destination for the Rangers starlet this summer despite interest from the Hammers.

It remains to be seen whether West Ham test will test Rangers’ resolve again and return to the table with an improved offer for Kennedy in the coming weeks.
