The 25-year-old midfielder was on Watford’s radar in the winter transfer window and the club considered taking him to England.

But a deal did not happen and Lea Siliki is still expected to leave Rennes this summer with several clubs believed to be chasing him.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, Watford have continued to keep tabs on the player ahead of their return to the Premier League next season.

The midfielder is very much on their radar, but it has been claimed Watford have asked for more time from Rennes to firm up an offer.

The Hornets are looking at a variety of options and are yet to take a call on whether to make a move for Lea Siliki.

But the Cameroonian has other options as he has also been attracting interest from La Liga.

Valencia have shown concrete interested in signing him and even Getafe have joined the race to take him to Spain.

Interest from Spain is likely to put pressure on Watford to make a decision on Lea Siliki soon.
