The Switzerland star has been tipped to leave Anfield this summer and a host of clubs, including Lazio and Sevilla, are interested in securing his services.

Shaqiri has found regular game time at Liverpool hard to come by in recent years and admits he has spoken to the Reds about his desire to move, something they have accepted.

The attacker revealed that Liverpool will seriously consider offers which are made for him.

“The important thing at this moment in my career is to be able to play regularly, but that has not always been the case in the last three seasons”, Shaqiri told Italian daily Corriere dello Sport.

“This is the reason why I told Liverpool that I feel ready for a new challenge.

“They accepted my wish and will seriously consider the offers that will come [for me]. They will not stop me [leaving].”

Liverpool recently sold Marko Grujic to FC Porto, Taiwo Awoniyi to Union Berlin, while sanctioning the departure of Harry Wilson to Union Berlin, as they look to raise money to make new signings.
