The 21-year-old midfielder has a year left on his contract and Marseille are open to letting him go in the ongoing transfer window.

Several clubs from a number of top leagues have been keeping tabs on the midfielder with a view to signing him this summer.

Kamara has been watched by Newcastle and there are suggestions that the club could try and sign him.

But according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Marseille are yet to receive any concrete offers and that is down to their financial demands.

It has been claimed that his suitors have been gradually cooling their interest in Kamara due to Marseille’s financial expectations.

None of the clubs are prepared to offer the kind of money Marseille have been demanding for him.

Some of the clubs could revive their interest in Kamara if Marseille recalibrate their expectations.

There are claims that Marseille want €30m for a player who is in the final year of his contract at the moment.
