The Moroccan joined Chelsea last summer but struggled to find a foothold in the starting eleven under Frank Lampard and later Thomas Tuchel.

He was also an unused substitute in Chelsea’s Champions League final victory and there are question marks on whether he fits in Tuchel’s system.

Chelsea have done nothing to indicate that they are considering letting him leave, but AC Milan are really interested in getting their hands on Ziyech.

And according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the player himself is open to a move to AC Milan and is intrigued at the prospect of turning out at the San Siro.

The Rossoneri are yet to find a breakthrough with Chelsea regarding the Moroccan and have been in constant touch with the player and his representatives.

They are trying to sell a move to Italy to Ziyech and are pushing him to convince Chelsea to let him leave.

But a deal is dependent on Chelsea agreeing to let him go on loan with an option to buy.

AC Milan also believe that a deal could become more plausible towards the end of the transfer window.
