Chelsea are in talks to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla this summer and are ready to offer players to the Spanish club to bring the Frenchman’s price down.
Sevilla rejected an offer to sign Emerson Palmieri and the two clubs are in negotiations that could see Zouma move to Spain this summer.
The Spanish club also have their eyes on a few other Chelsea players and it has been claimed that they are admirers of Christensen.
Sevilla would be open to having the Dane as part of the Kounde deal but it is not likely to happen.
Chelsea do not want to part ways with Christensen and want him to be part of their squad next season.
The 25-year-old played a key part in Chelsea winning the Champions League last season and remains part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans.
While he has a year left on his contract, Chelsea have already opened talks with his representatives over a new deal.
They want to sort out terms on a new contract with Christensen soon in order to secure his future at Stamford Bridge.
