Christie is out of contract at Celtic in January and the current transfer window represents the club’s last chance to earn a fee from his departure, if he does not sign a new deal.

The attacker has been linked with a host of Premier League sides and is tipped to end his time at Celtic Park this month.

However, no club have yet to show concrete interest in Christie during the window, despite his contractual status being likely to push Celtic towards a sale.

Christie did not start for Celtic on Saturday as they opened their bid to reclaim the Scottish Premiership title with a defeat away at Hearts.

Boss Ange Postecoglou turned to Christie off the bench in the 79th minute, but he could not help Celtic avoid defeat.

Both Burnley and Leicester City have expressed interest in Christie in the past and it remains to be seen if they look to do a deal with Celtic to sign him this summer.

Celtic are next in European action, with a Europa League qualifier away at Czech side Jablonec on Thursday.
