The striker’s future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is under the scanner, as Manchester City are looking to sign him and he is keen to depart.

It has been claimed that Kane has a gentleman’s agreement with Spurs chief Daniel Levy to let him leave this summer, as he seeks to move to another club to get his hands on silverware.

However, Spurs have no intention of letting Kane leave this summer as they continue their rebuilding process under new boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Portuguese has been looking forward to starting to work with Kane in pre-season as he is a key part of his plans in the upcoming campaign, but the striker is yet to return to the club.

Kane was due to link up with Nuno at Hotspur Way for pre-season training on Monday following a short summer break, but he has not shown up.

Manchester City’s top targets in the ongoing widow are Kane and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, for whom they have already slapped in a £100m bid.

It remains to be seen why Kane has not turned up as scheduled and whether he will apply pressure on Tottenham to sell him.
