Bellerin has two more years remaining on his contract with the Gunners, but is desperate to put an end to his ten-year association with the club this summer.

Inter were interested in signing Bellerin, but could not reach an agreement with Arsenal, who insisted on a sale or a loan with an obligation to buy, and went on to acquire Denzel Dumfries from PSV Eindhoven.

With only two more weeks to go in the transfer window, the Spain international is growing frustrated with Arsenal’s reluctance to sanction his transfer.

The idea of a swap deal involving Bellerin and Barcelona right-back Emerson has been mooted, with Arsenal prepared to part ways with the Spaniard and keen to strengthen in the position.

While a swap deal that would see Bellerin move to Camp Nou with Emerson heading in the opposite direction is a possibility, nothing is at an advanced stage yet.

The Brazil international joined Barcelona following a two-and-a-half-year stint with Real Betis this summer and it remains to be seen if he will secure another transfer before the window slams shut.

Arsenal are also said to be interested in Atletico Madrid right-back Kieran Trippier, but that too is not at an advanced stage.
