Both Tony Mowbray’s side and Neil Warnock’s men want to make additions to their squad as a busy Championship campaign gets going.

They are both aware of Bryan’s free agent status following his exit from Sheffield United.

The defender, who is also able to operate as a midfielder, made 13 appearances in Sheffield United’s doomed Premier League campaign last season, chipping in with a goal against Manchester United in a shock 2-1 win at Old Trafford.

Bryan will now weigh up his options ahead of his next move.

While he may be keen to join another club quickly, the 24-year-old is not bound by the transfer window and is able to move outside it as a free agent.

Bryan came through the youth ranks at Manchester City, but headed out on loan spells at Bury and Oldham Athletic before a permanent move to Sheffield United.

The defender departed Bramall Lane having made 19 appearances in total for the Blades.
