Blades boss Slavisa Jokanovic is aware of the need for Jebbison to get significant playing time and has opened the door for the 18-year-old to move out on loan this summer.

Sunderland are keen to strengthen their frontline before the transfer window slams shut and have approached Sheffield United in an attempt to sign Jebbison on loan.

Lee Johnson’s side are keen to bring the centre-forward through the door at Stadium of Light, but Jebbison has yet to move to the north east.

Apart from Sunderland, League One clubs Burton Albion and Doncaster Rovers are also vying to acquire Jebbison’s services on a temporary deal this summer.

And Jebbison’s loan move away from Bramall Lane is being held up due to an issue with the loan fee involved.

While an issue with a loan fee is holding up Jebbison’s transfer, it is unclear how much Sheffield United are demanding from his suitors.

With only two more weeks to go in the transfer window, it remains to be seen if the Blades and interested parties can reach a compromise over the loan fees for Jebbison.
