Steven Gerrard is set to add one more forward to his squad this summer with the imminent of arrival of Alegria from Honka.
Rangers have been working on a deal to sign the teenage striker for a while but they are finally ready to get the deal over the line.
They have agreed a six-figure fee with Honka for the striker and are now finalising the details of the agreement.
The Colombian is already in Scotland to finalise the move and will soon undergo a medical once the two clubs finalise the deal.
He has been on Rangers’ radar since January but a transfer in the summer was deemed more realistic for Alegria.
The forward joined Honka from Deportes Tolima in September last year when his contract expired and has been extensively scouted by Rangers.
He will be following in the footsteps of Alfredo Morelos, another Colombian who joined Rangers from a Finnish club, and has scored 95 times in 185 appearances for the club.
