The Nigerian midfielder left Queens Park Rangers to join Fenerbahce in the winter transfer window this year.

The 23-year-old has featured 20 times for Fenerbahce thus and has been linked with a move away from the Turkish giants this summer.

Both Rangers and Celtic have made enquiries into the player in the ongoing window and he has been tipped to be on his way to Scotland this summer.

But it has been claimed that Osayi-Samul is not expected to leave the Turkish giants before the end of the transfer window.

Rangers showed serious interest in him, but it has been claimed that a move away from Fenerbahce is now unlikely.

He is reportedly on substantial wages at Fenerbahce and it is unclear if Rangers or Celtic could meet his salary demands.

The Turkish outfit are not ready to give up on a player they just signed from QPR in the January transfer window.
