The 22-year-old winger has been linked with the Premier League side throughout the summer, but the club have first focused on addressing their needs in other positions.
However, with eleven days left in the window, Leeds now appear to be making progress in their efforts to bring Lang to Elland Road.
According to Belgian outlet Voetbal Belgie, Leeds have thrashed out personal terms on a contract with Lang and his representatives ahead of his potential move.
The Whites are now claimed to be in negotiations with Club Brugge as they look to work out an agreement over a fee.
It has been suggested that Leeds are making progress in talks with the Belgian giants as they aim to wrap up a deal for Lang.
The winger is keen on the move and recently rejected an offer of a new and improved contract from Club Brugge.
It remains to be seen if Leeds will be able to do a deal with Lang, with head coach Marcelo Bielsa having indicated that players the club could sign are priced too highly.
