Having made seven senior appearances for Dundee United at the age of just 16, Smith has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs.
Leeds have been credited with an interest in the centre-back, while Southampton are said to be trying to strike a deal with Dundee United for him.
Apart from the Premier League clubs, Scottish Premiership giants Celtic are also interested in signing Smith from their league rivals.
Crystal Palace and West Ham are among the clubs keen on acquiring the teenager’s services and are competing with the likes of Celtic and Leeds for his signature.
And now, Crystal Palace and West Ham want Smith to come to London to hold talks over a potential transfer.
It is unclear whether the highly-rated central defender is keen on a move to either of those clubs and will travel to London for talks.
