The Bees have had bright start to their first ever Premier League campaign, undefeated in their three opening games with five points in the bag.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank is looking to further bolster his backline before the transfer window slams shuts today and has a new right-back at the top of his transfer wish-list.

And according to Belgian daily Het Belang van Limburg, Brentford are keen on roping in Standard Liege starlet Siquet.

The west Londoners would need to push to land the 19-year-old in the coming hours if they are to seal a deadline day deal for him with the clock winding down on the window.

Brentford are known for conducting their transfer business after in-depth analysis of all their targets and Siquet could become the latest addition to Frank’s squad.

The teenager came through Standard Liege’s youth system and his current contract there ends next summer, although they have an option to extend it by two years.

But Siquet could find himself playing top flight football in England in the coming weeks if Brentford manage to get a deal done with Standard Liege for his signature today.
