Ahead of the end of the window, some drama has emerged regarding Van de Beek’s time at Manchester United this summer.

Manchester United have been insistent about not letting the Dutchman go in the ongoing transfer window despite his difficult first season at Old Trafford.

Everton reportedly tabled a loan bid to sign him recently, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer blocked any potential move for the midfielder.

His agent has also accused Manchester United of not being accommodating, but cold water has been poured on the speculation.

It has been suggested that Manchester United did not receive any approaches for the Dutchman.

And the Premier League side did also not make Van de Beek available in the market despite recent speculation.

Solskjaer still trusts the Dutchman and is expecting him to play a bigger part in the team after the international break.

Manchester United have never been open to loaning him out throughout the window with the midfielder also wanting to stay at the club.
