Add-ons are worth a potential €8m and the total fee will be paid by the Red Devils over a five-year period.
As such, when Manchester United finish paying for Ronaldo he will have turned 41 years old.
Juventus have confirmed Ronaldo’s exit and Manchester United are expected to imminently confirm his return.
The Italian giants said in a statement: “Juventus Football Club announces that an agreement with Manchester United FC Ltd for the definitive disposal of the registration rights of the player Dos Santos Aveiro Cristiano Ronaldo has been reached for a consideration of 15 million euros payable in five financial years, which might be increased, up to a maximum of eight million euros, upon achievement of specific performance objectives over the duration of the employment contract with the player.”
All eyes will be on what shirt number Ronaldo takes back at Manchester United, with his ‘second debut’ due to come against Newcastle United after the international break.
