The Whites are edging closer to the signing of Wales international Daniel James from Premier League rivals Manchester United.

James could be the only incoming at Elland Road today, but a few could be on their way out of the club before the transfer window slams shut.

21-year-old midfielder Stevens is a top candidate to seal a move away from the Yorkshire-based club today.

And it appears the Englishman is set to put pen to paper on a temporary deal with League Two outfit Barrow.

Stevens spent the last season on loan at Swindon Town and Bradford City and will now continue his development at Barrow.

While the youngster is expected to join Barrow on loan, Robbie Gotts has been tipped to leave Leeds on a permanent deal today.

Barrow are among the clubs credited with an interest in Gotts, who is also wanted by Oldham Athletic.
