Brighton are swooping to sign the striker from Czech Republic side Slavia Prague, but will let him bed into the English game out on loan.

When Sima puts pen to paper to his contract on the south coast he will be sent out on loan to Championship outfit Stoke.

The 20-year-old has caught the eye with his performances for Slavia Prague and helped his side to reach the last eight of the Europa League last season.

Sima netted against Nice, Hapoel Beer Sheva and Leicester City during his side’s run.

He came face to face with British defences in the shape of Leicester, Rangers and Arsenal.

The Senegal international will be looking to hit the ground running in the Championship and aid Stoke’s promotion bid.

It remains to be seen if Brighton will have an option to recall Sima from his loan in January.
