Wesley joined Club Brugge on loan this summer after making just three appearances last season for Aston Villa in the Premier League.
His tenure at Villa Park has been riddled with injuries and the striker has made only 26 appearances for the Villans in all competitions.
Wesley joined Villa in the summer of 2019, for a big fee of around £22m from Club Brugge and has returned to the Belgian side on loan.
However, Club Brugge cannot yet throw him into action, with Clement admitting he is not up to speed.
“Wesley still has a backlog. The chance is therefore small that he will be there tomorrow, unless unexpected things happen”, Clement told his club’s official channel.
Wesley was successful in his first stint at Club Brugge, making 130 appearances for them in all competitions, scoring 38 goals and providing 14 assists.
He was unable to replicate the same form in England however as he so far has scored only six times for the Villans in his injury-riddled spell at the club.
The striker will be hoping he regains his fitness and is able to get a lot more game-time this season playing for the Belgian champions.
