Premier League club West Ham will play their first European game since the 2016/17 season against Croatian outfit Dinamo Zagreb at the Stadion Maksimir on Thursday.

Dinamo Zagreb are preparing for their first Europa League group stage match against the Hammers and have been doing their homework on David Moyes’ side.

Looking ahead to the game, Dinamo Zagreb attacker Ivanusec has revealed that the Croatian club have formulated a game plan after analysing the London-based club.

Having analysed the West Ham players, Ivanusec hailed Antonio as a quality striker, but insisted the Irons are not reliant on the Jamaica international alone and stressed the need for Dinamo Zagreb to focus on their opponents as a whole.

Certainly we expect it to go at 100 per cent because this competition is competitive“, Ivanusec told a press conference.

We expect that from ourselves and for the tactical part I will not talk about it.

We have a tactical plan, but I will keep that to myself.

Antonio is a very good player. We saw in the analysis that he is a quality striker.

We should also concentrate on the links between the players because they are of good quality and this is West Ham.

They are not reliant on one player, but on all of them.

We have a plan and we will try to implement it.

They play a lot down the flanks. We will have to stop that, as well as Antonio getting the ball.

West Ham have been winless in their last two Premier League games, but will be hopeful of getting their Europa League campaign off to a winning start against Dinamo Zagreb.
