Bruce has never been a popular figure at Newcastle since he became their manager, despite being a boyhood Magpies supporter.
With the fans back at the stadium this season, Bruce has been subjected to jeering from the Newcastle fans, both home and away, with the team losing three of their opening four league games.
His relationship with the Newcastle fans is unlikely to improve even if their form turns around and Bielsa conceded that it is the worst feeling as a manager to be that unpopular amongst the supporters.
The Leeds boss conceded that being jeered by the club’s own supporters is not the greatest thing for any manager to enjoy and he feels his counterpart at St. James’ Park.
Bielsa said in a press conference: “I always feel saddened when this happens to a manager and the own fans go against them.
“It’s one of the worst feelings that a manager can have.”
Bruce is again expected to come under fire if Newcastle fail to perform when Leeds visit St. James’ Park on Friday night.
