The 20-year-old joined Spanish second-tier side UD Ibiza earlier this summer for the season and has scored two goals in four league appearances for the club.

Bogusz trained with the Leeds first-team squad and even got opportunities to play when he was at Elland Road, having enjoyed what he says was eye-opening training under Bielsa.

The Pole conceded that he never experienced such training sessions under any other coach and he feels lucky that he got the opportunity to work under the Leeds manager at such a young age.

Bogusz was quoted as saying by Spanish daily AS: “With Marcelo, I had never seen this type of training.

“I am happy, I am 20 and I had the pleasure of training with that type of coach.”

Bogusz has represented Poland at youth level and is hopeful that the spell at Ibiza will help him to get close to playing for the senior side.

He stressed that it is up to him to work hard, play at his best and make sure that he emerges as an option for Poland.

“I hope that being at Ibiza can help me a lot.

“Now I have a chance to show what I can do. It depends on me, how I work and how I play.

“I hope that day will come but the best thing is to work and we will see.”
