The Owls drew against Shrewsbury at home on Saturday as summer signing Saido Berahino’s goal was cancelled out by Ryan Bowman’s strike.

Moore’s side may feel like the game was a missed opportunity as Barry Bannan failed to score from the spot near the 20-minute mark, when a conversion would have given them a 2-0 lead, and their winless streak in the league now extends to three games.

The Owls boss feels it is important now that he gets the players to mentally refocus on the game against the Tractor Boys next weekend.

“I have to refocus the players’ mindset”, Moore said in a press conference after the game against Shrewsbury.

“We will have another week to work and we have got another tough game down at Ipswich.

“I hope a lot of people will have seen the potential of this team in the first half.”

Moore feels frustrated that his side did not manage to win the game and he is especially disappointed by the Owls’ performance in the second half.

“I felt there were enough chances to win the game”, Moore added.

“It is frustrating we didn’t lose but we put ourselve in a position to win the game.

“I am frustrated with the second half.

“It’s up to my team to review the second half and learn from it.”

The Owls’ next opponents won their first match of the campaign on Saturday, but they still have performed much below supporters’ expectations and Moore’s side will be hoping to get back to winning ways next weekend.
