The Whites have had a tough start to their Premier League campaign this season and are yet to register a single win in five outings.

Leeds are now set to welcome David Moyes’ West Ham to Elland Road at the weekend in a top flight clash, with the Hammers coming into the game having tasted their first defeat of the league season against Manchester United on Sunday.

Despite their struggles on the pitch so far their season, ex-Leeds hitman Beckford believes the Whites will be able to bag all three points against the Hammers, provided they do exactly what Bielsa wants them to do, while giving it their all.

Beckford admitted West Ham have a lot of quality in their ranks and he is expecting Leeds to have tough challenge come Saturday.

While discussing Leeds’ prospects against West Ham in their upcoming top flight clash, Beckford said on the Official Leeds United Podcast: “They have got more than enough in their arsenal to trouble us.

“But if we are firing on all cylinders and we have got all our players doing exactly as Bielsa tells them to do, which is something we know how good they are when they are doing it, I do genuinely think we will come away with a victory.

“But it is not going to be an easy one, we are going to come out of it with cuts and bruises.”

Leeds are currently dealing with injuries to a clutch of key players in the likes of Patrick Bamford, Luke Ayling, Raphinha, Robin Koch and Diego Llorente and it remains to be seen who all will be available for selection come Saturday.
