The Magpies have entered a new era of leadership having seen a Saudi Arabia-backed consortium buy the club from Mike Ashley last week.

Newcastle’s new owners are tipped to completely restructure the club and they are exploring the possibility of hiring a new sporting director and even a new manager.

The Tyneside giants are expected to also look to revamp their squad in the upcoming transfer windows and have already been linked with a clutch of players across Europe.

And it has been claimed Newcastle are also interested in a move for Bayern Munich centre-back Sule.

The German is also a target of Newcastle’s top flight rivals Chelsea, with Blues boss Thomas Tuchel being a firm admirer of his qualities on the pitch.

Sule is yet to commit to new contract at the Allianz Arena with his current deal set to expire in the summer.

As such the defender can sign a pre-contract agreement with a potential suitor when the winter transfer window swings open in January.

It remains to be seen whether the likes of Newcastle or Chelsea will try to lure Sule away from Munich in the upcoming transfer window.
