A product of the Roma academy, the defensive midfielder is not a starter at the club this season but has made two senior appearances.

He is rated highly at Roma and the Serie A giants are working on offering him a new deal, which will replace his existing contract that will expire in 2023.

The Giallorossi have been in talks with his entourage since the summer over a new deal and are very keen to get him signed up on fresh terms as soon as possible.

But his talent is being noted outside Italy as well and according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Fulham and Tottenham have been keeping tabs on him.

Scouts from the two London clubs have been regularly watching him and they are keen to get their hands on him in the near future.

Darboe is being closely monitored by both clubs with a view to making a move for him soon.

Roma are keen to act fast and conclude the negotiations over a new deal in order to secure the midfielder’s future.

However, they are now facing the prospect of Darboe being poached by clubs in England in the near future.
