The French midfielder is in the final year of his contract and will not be signing on fresh terms with the German champions.

Tolisso’s representatives are on the lookout for a new club and he will be free to discuss a pre-contract with other clubs from January onwards.

The 27-year-old has been on the radar of several clubs, being linked with sides in the summer, and it has been claimed Tottenham are pushing to sign him in the future.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, Paratici has been in touch with the player’s agents with a view to taking him to the north London club.

The talks are at an advanced stage and nothing has been agreed, but Spurs are interested in signing him.

It remains to be seen whether Spurs are planning to snap him on a free transfer or try to sign him in the winter transfer window.

Juventus have also been keen on Tolisso but he is their alternative target if they fail to land Aurelien Tchouameni in January.

Tolisso is believed to be keen to move to Italy but it seems Spurs are the ones who are showing concrete interest in him.
