The hitman’s future at Fiorentina has been under the scanner having recently rejected a lucrative contract offer from the club.

As it stands Vlahovic is unlikely to put pen-to-paper on a new deal at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, with his current deal set to expire in the summer of 2023.

Tottenham Hotspur managing director of football Fabio Paratici, who is a fan of the Serbian, wants him at the club and Liverpool are also credited with interest in him while Newcastle, financially rejuvenated by their recent change in ownership have enquired about him and are keen on a move.

Serie A giants Juventus are also firm admirers of Vlahovic and according to Turin based daily Tuttosport, they are plotting a swoop for him when the January transfer window swings open.

The Bianconeri want to ward off competition for the in-demand striker and are tipped to propose a player plus cash deal with a fee in the €50m range in the winter window, but La Viola supremo Rocco Commisso prefers to sell him abroad.

If Juventus manage to shed some salary off their wage bill by offloading bit-part player Aaron Ramsey in the next window, they will be in a stronger position to pursue a deal for Vlahovic.

It remains to be seen whether Juventus will make a move for Vlahovic in January or wait until next summer to swoop for him.
